The United Nations in China is seeking a travel service provider that can provide a full range of travel services.  The different agencies of the United in China have a high volume of domestic and international travel business and services for its staff, experts, visitors and missions. The annual purchase volume is above US$1,200,000.

The Operations Management Group of the United Nations in China wishes to receive Expressions of Interest from firms with the ability to provide high quality travel services, including issuance of air tickets, airport pick-up, hotel bookings, assistance for emergency travel and medical evacuation, processing visa applications, and assistance in arranging for major conferences abroad, etc.  Interested firms must meet the following criteria:  

- is duly registered in China and member of the IATA
- has legal authority to conduct business activities in China
- has operated in the travel industry sector in China for at least 2 or 3 years
- presents annual report for past two years, including financial statement
- has international network
- provides the name of its 5 major key clients in China  

The closing date for submission of Expression of Interest is  24 November 2008. The selected travel agencies after review of Expression of Interest will be invited for participating the bidding.
