On the occasion of the 63rd year anniversary of UN Day, I am delighted to welcome leading Chinese artists from Yunnan to launch the exhibition “Back to Guishan” at our compound in Beijing. As part of the UN Day to celebrations in China, this exhibition illustrates the importance of art in development and the critical role art and culture can play in furthering the Millennium Development Goals. I wish to convey my sincere thanks to the artists who have devoted their effort for making this enlightening exhibition a reality.
