UN Moves with the Times - interview of Ms. Amakobe Sande on Live United Nations Season II

In 1945, the world came together and founded the United Nations in the ruins of war. Over the last 75 years, the world has changed tremendously, but the people’s yearning for peace and development remains unchanged. In marking the 75th anniversary of the United Nations, Ms. Amakobe Sande, the interim United Nations Resident Coordinator in China, shares the birth, development and future of the United Nations in the video series “Live United Nations”.

“Live United Nations” is a multilingual, short-video series of programme released by Xinhua News Agency. This series will show the connection between the UN and everyday people, as well as the UNs commitment towards peace and development for a better tomorrow.
